Cashmere is the fine downy undercoat grown by cashmere producing livestock. The name "cashmere" comes from Kashmir, a mountainous region of Tibet. Cashmere fleece is a mixture of two fibers; a coarse fiber referred to as "guard hair" and the fine downy fiber called "cashmere." Guard hair is normally longer and provides protection for the finer downy undercoat.

Orders placed before noon (PST) will ship the next business day. We offer Standard & Express Shipping via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

Standard or Express Shipping — Standard orders are shipped Priority Mail. Priority mail should arrive in 2 – 3 business days. Express mail should arrive in 1 - 2 business days. All other shipping methods, please place your order via phone or email.

Free Standard Shipping for online purchases grater than $100. Order usually arrives in 3-4 business days. Offer based on merchandise total and does not include taxes or any additional charges. Offer not valid on international orders. Additional fees may apply for expedited shipping.

Sales Tax

Orders shipped to California will have all applicable local and state sales taxes added to the total order.

Taxes that appear on your online order are approximate. Applicable state and local sales tax will be applied when your order is shipped.

Returns

Products must be returned within 30 days with a Return Authorization Form. The items must be returned in their original packaging, in as-new condition.

Return Process

1. Send your request for a Return to info@calcashmere.com.
2. California Cashmere Company will contact you with Return Instructions and a Credit Return Authorization Number.
3. Mail the product with the Credit Return Authorization Number within five days.
   You must return the products in their original packaging, in as-new condition along with all other items that were included in the original shipment
4. Shipping charges and Insurance are Buyers responsibility.
5. A Credit will be issued to the same method of payment upon acceptance of the returned products.
